ACCPAC International, Inc., a subsidiary of Computer Associates (NYSE: CA), today introduced ACCPAC Pro Series Small Business Edition (SBE), a lower-cost, bundled version of its comprehensive ACCPAC Pro Series accounting solution. Designed to address the needs of businesses that require 10 or fewer accounting users, the new offering carries a very affordable sticker price of $5995, which includes one year of free product upgrades. Users may upgrade SBE to ACCPAC Pro Series Enterprise Edition, which offers the full source code for unlimited customization as well as unlimited accounting users.
The new Small Business Edition is a bundle of 8 integrated modules: system manager, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase orders, order entry, inventory control and payroll. Pro Series SBE also ships with extended e-business capabilities built into the system manager, including Pro Alert, an automated workflow manager; DataDriller, the popular query and report wizard that creates unlimited user reports from any data view; and Message Master, a document manager that allows users to print, email, and/or fax documents directly from the accounting system. In addition, Pro Series SBE users can add B2C and B2B e-commerce capability with ACCPAC eTransact, an integrated web store creation and management option.
