Now all SBT end users, including legacy customers, can log on to their accounting system via Internet connection at any time, from any location.All that's required is the proper server components and configuration. Officials at SBT Accounting Systems confirmed that their new web-based offering is a radically different access paradigm from other mid-market accounting vendors.

Other accounting software vendors have offered or promised web access to accounting data by building new products and requiring users to update their software, costing time and money. However, SBT's Ultimate Thin Client model requires no new software or upgrade. With the right server configuration, existing users get unlimited web access to all SBT accounting products right away. SBT's Ultimate Thin Client paradigm makes application hosting possible at the local level. SBT provides the software product to the SBT VAR, who can then load the software onto an in-house server, and host up to 99 companies. Using SBT's new Customization Manager module, the VAR can customize each hosted company separately. One customer logs into SBT over the web and sees "24-7 Plumbing Services", while another customer logs in and sees "Main Street Distributors, Inc."
